It is unfortunately damaged with the front edge being broken and missing. It is likely the best place for this to break though, as it doesn't seem to effect the function or its ability to stay closed. The operation of this one is a little sticky which is not unusual for older ones. One of the coolest little tobacco accessories and in Bakelite, I just wish it was in better condition. Besides the
