Algebra 2 [Competency Based] A Social-Emotional Learning Most biological processes are chemistrySemester 1: Algebra 2 allows students to discover how the skills they learned in Algebra 1 further apply to a variety of topics. Students begin the course with a review of linear equations and inequalities in one and two variables. They apply their knowledge of systems of equations to work with more advanced systems of three equations. A deeper dive into polynomials involves factoring, performing operations, and comparing and contrasting graphs.
