The Ashanti people of Ghana believe there are no secrets between a man and his stool

Fulani bowls often have beautiful patterned carving details perfected through incredible wood carving skills passed down generations

every 3 to 4 months the Karamajong people will move their cattle in search of water and pasture and they are skilled in creating functional pieces that are easy to transport from materials readily found in their harsh desert environment

Traditionally the beads would have been used as a currency to trade for food and other goods

Each stool is hand-carved by a community member from indigenous wood and will vary slightly

Dogon Mask 20 new in The Ashanti people of GhanaMasks that come from the Dogan people are truly special to find and one of our favourite masks to curate as they are so unique. Each mask is hand carved using indigenous woods and can represent various human characters that have meaning to their communities, such as hunters, warriors, healers and women. Their masks can also depict animals, birds, objects and abstract concepts. Stand is included. Please note stands may have minor imperfections.
