It is almost impossible to identify many bears because they were produced in massive quantities by hundreds of manufactures (many short lived) so it is sometimes better not to try to guess at the maker of some bruins

She is a lovely 16 ins once white 1918 Steiff with her button

but this is only noticeable around her joints

Harwin & Co. £420 ASTC Stanley is such a sweetheartLittle Fellow a rare small Harwin teddy bear circa 1915, with blonde mohair, clear and black glass eyes with brown painted backs, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, w shaped mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs, hump and pale yellow knitted cardigan 10in. (25. 5cm.) high (balding, general wear and thinning and pads replaced) Harwin & Company. The factory in North London ceased in 1930 so very few of these bears survive. Description Date
