This cultivar should probably be listed as Acer japonicum x palmatum 'Gossamer' if this is the case. I have not seen it listed that way. No matter what you call it this is one cool little tree and deserves more attention. Very slow growing when young eventually reaching 10 feet or more with age. The deeply divided foliage almost appears linearilobum like. Beautiful
